Victims of Pearblossom Highway Crash in Littlerock Identified

LITTLEROCK, Calif.—Authorities April 30 identified a fifth person who was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Pearblossom (138) Highway in the Littlerock area.

Aisha Shoats, 23, was the last victim to be identified by the medical examiner.

Reynaldo Alvarado, 60, Emilio Dermedy, 24, and Pauline Martinez Salinas, 20, were identified earlier by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office. On Monday, the first casualty was identified as 23-year-old Corry Holley Jr.

The collision was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 8:12 p.m. Sunday on eastbound Pearblossom Highway at 106th Street East.

People were reported trapped in both cars, described by witnesses as a blue-gray Mitsubishi sedan and a blue Toyota Yaris.

The drivers of both cars were killed and three other people were also killed in one of the vehicles, CHP Officer Erik Larsen told City News Service. All were pronounced dead at the scene.

Traffic was routed away from the area for several hours while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
