An Arizona lawmaker has introduced legislation that would commemorate victims of communism and require classroom instruction on the harms of communism.
The guidance said parents should be involved except when there’s ‘a significant risk of harm’ and primary school pupils shouldn’t be allowed to change pronouns.
Some have formed groups informing parents about what’s being taught in schools, some organize delegations for school board meetings, and some arrange protests.
Teachers’ unions have reacted angrily after the government set out plans to introduce minimum levels of service which schools should provide during strikes.
‘Our leaders have made it clear that they prioritize the migrants more than our own children who are dying on our streets,’ says activist Tyrone Muhammad.
